This biggest fighting games tournament in the Czech Republic is back.

This year, the mainstage games are Street Fighter V and Guilty Gear Xrd –REVELATOR-, while there's also Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and a BlazBlue: Central Fiction side event.

The general partner for this event is Zowie by BenQ, which means that every station will have the Zowie RL2460 display, which boasts really low input lag and is widely used at Capcom Cup events.

Additionally, the winners of SFV and GG will both bring home the same display. And not only that, this year will also have cash prizes for the Top 3 of both of the main games and the Top 2 of Marvel!

Hey guys!

We're always happy to see our Polish friends. Some of you at Bursa, some at Buttonczech and some of you even in this year on VanDammage in Vienna. This time, we have secured a nice place near the city center of Prague and we're looking forward for some good competition that you always bring!

There is expected to be a good competition of KOF/Marvel from Germany-speaking countries (as well as Czechs, of course!) and especially good competition for Virtua Fighter 5 since one of our guys (Unicorn) is organizing the European VF group to come for some sightseeing of Prague as well as for the tournament since there is no European Sega Cup this year (if it gets announced anyway and it's around August, we're fucked ).

- Random draw by location, winners of previous tournaments seeded
- Games are played first to 2 (finals first to 3, usually Top 4/6/8 depending on the amount of players)

Sleeping at hotel rooms costs 300 CZK (~12 EUR) a night. The rooms have showers, comfortable beds, small TVs (you can connect your consoles and train through the night or even connect your own LCD, we usually session through the night).

During the weekend of May 11th and 12th, a unique and awesome event is going to happen. Fighting games players will rock the biggest Arcade museum in Europe, to fight for the title of champion in current-generation fighters. And not only that – they will also try to be the very best in three classic games, which will be played on original dedicated arcade cabinets.

Console tournaments (Double Elimination)
- Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition (PS3/X360)

These are going to be played on PS3 and XBOX360 consoles. The PS3 is preffered (except for UMVC3), the finals may be played on XBOX360 (we will provide PS3 to X360 Cronus converters to players if needed).

Arcade tournaments (Single Elimination)

- Killer Instinct 2

Arcade tournaments are going to be played on dedicated Arcade cabinets. They are sort of side events.

Players will be entitled to play freely on over 100 arcade machines ranging from 1970s to 2000s.

Kostelec tournaments are well-known for their great friendly atmosphere in a hotel near some wonderful nature, which ultimately no player cares about.

Here comes a new challenge! The first Czech TTT2 tournament has been announced, and it will be accompanied by SSF4AE, UMvC3 and VF5FS tournaments.

As usually, every year, Czech fighting games community presents a tournament. Since 2008, there were no foreign guests to come but in 2011, you came and took most of the prizes.

Here comes a new challenge! In the same place as before - closer to our shared borders than Prague.

Czech Arcade is a fighting games exclusive part of GameFFest – the richest gaming festival, including console games, PC games and music games, not to forget desk and card games. We’re going to have a community-wide meeting with tournaments in Tekken and Street Fighter and to present our community and the games we play to potential new players.

GameFFest will have a standard tournament and a newcomers tournament. The standard one is invitation-only (guess what, you're invited!), the newcomers one is exclusive for people at the festival, organised by us for recruitting new players.

(I know you have some T6 event on the same date and that there's a lot of events around. Tekken 6 is slowly dying, we'll be playing many other games, incl. TTT HD and TTT2 Prologue exhibition, UMvC3 exhibition, Capcom vs. SNK 2 and other games which you can see in the picture above. It's more like a meeting which includes a tournament (there will be fine prizes of course) rather than a serious big tournament.)
